Abstract

The development of new trends in passenger transport, considering the reduction of the use of fossil fuels and the reduction of the carbon footprint, opens up new alternative ways of powering motor vehicles. This bachelor thesis, in the first part, deals with the description of the different elements of a hydrogen filling station, and then describes the incidents that have certain connections with the operation of hydrogen stations. The bachelor thesis also describes the legal and normative requirements in the Czech Republic and compares them with the current requirements of foreign countries. The thesis concludes by summarizing the findings that should lead to a contribution to the safe operation of hydrogen filling stations, which is one of the paths that the human population may take in the years to come.
