Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to assess the current strategy of the construction company, evaluate the achieved results and propose possible recommendations to improve its position. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts and defines the theoretical approaches and methods of strategic analysis for subsequent application in the practical part. In the theoretical part, PESTEL analysis is used to determine the influence of the macro-environment. The influence of the microenvironment is analysed through Porter's five forces model. A financial analysis is developed to assess the results. By performing SWOT analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of the company, and the opportunities and threats acting on the company from the external environment are identified. Based on the results, recommendations for the further possible development of the company were proposed.
