Stanovení hodnoty podniku PWO Czech Republic a.s.

Abstract

The thesis deals with determination of the value of the company PWO CZ by 1st January 2015. The introductory part outlines the theoretical background. Basic information concerning the enterprise, an enterprise value and also definitions related to valuation of a company by particular asset and income valuation methods are defined. The next chapter is connected with characteristic of the enterprise PWO Czech Republic a. s. and it describes the history and the present of the company, its objectives, production, an organizational structure and customers. The practical part is focused on a strategic analysis and application of specific methods to the enterprise. Using the strategic analysis, long-term and short-term goals were defined and then a financial analysis, PEST analysis, Porter's five forces analysis and SWOT analysis were applied. The final chapter then employs valuation methods, including the DCF entity method, the capitalized earnings method, the accounting and the substance methods.
