Motivace a zaměstnanecké benefity v malých a středních podnicích

Abstract

This master's thesis presents an in-depth analysis of employee motivation systems and employee benefits within the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector. The aim is to identify key factors influencing worker satisfaction and to uncover potential discrepancies between management's visions and the actual needs of employees. The theoretical part defines the specifics of human resource management in SMEs and summarizes classical and modern motivation theories in the context of current Czech legislation. The practical part employs a mixed research design, combining a questionnaire survey of employees with semi-structured interviews with owners and managers of selected companies. The findings reveal a communication gap that widens with increasing company size and confirm a mismatch in benefit preferences, where employees particularly lack flexibility and modern forms of time off. The concluding part formulates specific recommendations for streamlining motivation systems and strengthening employee loyalty in the current labor market.
