Abstract

The aim of a final work was to carry out maintenance of Highway basic map in section 164,500 km – 165,000 km. In theoretical part there are clarified the terms concerning maps, their distribution and functions of the maps. The following chapters of the final work are devoted to the history of highways in Czechoslovakia, Slovak republic and characterize Slovak highway map. Practical part is concerned with geodetic activity in creation the map of maintenance. The result of the issue’s solution is performance of map which satisfies the requirements of necessity of Highway basic map.
