Systém pro měření a zpracování obrazového signálu v biomedicíně

Abstract

This bachelor work deals with image processing in biomedicine. Specifically selecting abnormality on CT or MR image, which may for example be a cyst. Segmentation is first performed using various edge detectors, then the thresholding is used and finally is the abnormality selected from image by algorithm. Graphical user interface was created in Matlab and it allows user to load images, add filters, thresholding and subsequent definitive detection of abnormalities. Functions of the program were also properly tested on different images with different abnormalities. The resulting program can be used in health care, both in medicine and in biomedicine. Program can be used to help doctors to diagnose or at universities as a teaching tool in the subjects of medicine and pathology, programming and much more.
