Abstract

This thesis deals with the properties of profiled bars after heat treatment. In the introduction, the author focuses on the evaluation of mechanical properties of steels after the forming process. Emphasis is placed on the impact test in order to obtain information about these parameters observed in the steel S355K2. Part of the theory is also aimed at describing the software used for determining the transition temperature, phase composition of steel after heat treatment. The object of the experiment is to verify the pre-defined modes of heat treatment. The conclusion is to evaluate the mechanical properties of the resulting profile bars after taking the heat treatment, with emphasis on the value of notch toughness. Apart from the results of tensile tests and impact toughness tests are also developed and obtained microstructure After processing all the results it was possible to design an optimal variant of heat treatment for steel profiled bars S355K2.
