Abstract

The diploma thesis is concerned with an analysis and consequent comparison of the staff commutation of two selected companies in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The commutation is monitored on the basis of train and as well as bus transport. For the above-mentioned reason, the computerized data processing of traffic orders is used. Furthermore, the commutation by individual private transport based on a network analysis of transport availability is assessed. The diploma thesis contains the analysis of economic and geographic factors of the decision making and subsequent comparison of an actual situation with theoretical conditions counted in terms of a gravitational model. In conclusion, the results of both companies are compared with each other.
