Európska únia a Spojené štáty americké v boji proti terorizmu

Abstract

The topic of my thesis is the European Union and the United States in the fight against terrorism. The main goal of this work is to mapping and recovering in detail of forms and benefits of cooperation between the European Union and United States the in the fight against terrorism. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. In the first I characterize terrorism as such. In the seven subchapters I dedicate gradually to issue of common definition creating, the main forms and history with big accent to current situation. The last subchapter is orriented to terrorist organizations and their activity. The topic of the second chapter is section of strategic documents and important initiatives. In the first subchapter is an attention oriented to a general legislative progress in the world in the 20th century. Next two subchapters already deals in accepted strategic documents and initiatives of European Union and United States of Ameica after year 2001. The main accent is placed to the last chapter. In the first subchapter I analyze main attitudes, witch create the international relations of both. In next two subchapters I am orriented to specific forms of cooperation in the section of police and judicial institutions and bilateral agreaments. The main goal is solved in the last subchapter. I analyze forms of cooperation betwen EU and USA and look at their future progress in this section.
