Abstract

This thesis deals with parking in the car park of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, VSB-TUO and the possibility of subsequent extension. The goal of this thesis is to assess the current and prospective needs parking using traffic engineering surveys and calculations also proposed location and layout of possible additional parking spaces, including access roads. In the first part I introduced parking location, characteristics of the city and I approached Operating Procedure parking valid from 15.4. 2013. I also evaluated the current capacity of parking questionnaire calculation according to CSN 73 6110 and the survey of static traffic. In the last part, I consider the proposals of new parking spaces and passability I verified program AutoTURN 8.
