Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the most significant processing procedures and waste substances generated in the steam cracker unit of UNI RPA. This company is located in the North Bohemian region halfway between Most and Litvínov and it is the most significant producer in the field of refinery, petrochemical and agrochemical feedstock. This thesis describes individual production processes of the steam cracker unit and the attention is also paid to the end products, intermediate products and, in particular, the waste generated in the steam cracker unit as well as in the Unipetrol RPA plant. The final part of the thesis deals, in particular, with monitoring and disposal of individual types of waste in the steam cracker unit.
