Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of the safe use of a manipulator when casting liquid steel from a ladle into a tundish. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the safety of the work activity, which consists in the operation of manually controlled work equipment during the casting of hot metal and to create a proposal for a safe work procedure when introducing new equipment. Assess the occupational hazards of both machines and propose measures to eliminate the identified hazards.
