Abstract

The thesis concerns evaluation of structural characteristics of experimental alloys based on Ni3Al which were prepared by different methods. The main task was to prepare alloy based on Ni3Al in operating conditions. Various conditions of melting and casting were performed during experimental procedure. Structural characteristics were evaluated for each alloy. It was observed that grains in bars grow in the direction of heat extraction and very often receive the half of the casting. Cast structure of alloys with approximate Ni24Al composition mainly consists of Ni3Al phase. Alloys with lower aluminium Ni22Al show multi-phase structure, i. e. Ni3Al and solid solution of nickel. As a next step, possibilities of both structure modification by adding of chosen alloys and grain size affecting by means of heat treatment will be checked.
