Nástavba plánovacího systému Precise Plan

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is extension of radiotherapeutical planning system PrecisePlan from british company Elekta. At the present time this system has finished servising support, so is not possible to upgrade it in any way. Department of radiation and clinical oncology of Znojmo hospital using this planning system. Due to the financial reasons is not possible to finalize the acquisition of the new modern planning systerm, therefore this thesis aims to complement, resp.improve some options of PrecisePlan. In MATLAB is create a database of pacients which include information of basic patients´s dates, diagnosis, date of irradiation, planned, minimal and maximal dose for target volume and critical organs etc. Further work in GUIDE in MATLAB is processing pictures from radiotherapy plans, where are images processed and when irradiated volume is evaluated using detection isodoses.
