Abstract
The bachelor thesis focuses on forest fires, their typology and factors influencing their
spread. The main emphasis is on approaches and modern technologies used for forest fire
detection. The thesis compares different detection methods in terms of their accuracy, speed of
response, technical complexity and applicability in practice. The aim is to identify the
advantages and disadvantages of each technology and to provide a comprehensive overview of
the current state of the art in the field of forest fire prevention and early detection.
