Abstract
Bachelor‘s thesis is focused on the description of processes leading to hydrogen absorption by metals. Approximation of the negative effects of these processes, e.g. hydrogen embrittlement is discussed. Furthermore a prospective utilization of hydrogen storage in metals is also described in this work. The experimental part deals with the influence of absorbed hydrogen and strain rate on fracture properties of the steel 12013.
