Abstract
This work focuses on the design and implementation of a mathematical model for detecting holes in a moving belt of opaque material using MATLAB software. The theoretical part includes state of art of technology in optical pinhole detection, along with an introduction to photodetectors and correlation methods. In the practical part, an innovative solution for pinhole detection is proposed, and its mathematical model is developed and implemented in MATLAB. The final practical section verifies the proposed model on simulated data, evaluating the results and advantages of the given solution.
