Abstract

This thesis deals with a development of extended applications for AutoCAD enabling the user the simplest possible way how to draw a technical documentation for a manufacture of wooden windows. This database includes basic shapes of wooden timbers, which the windows are made of, the details are composed of more timbers and groups of these details needed to create the drawings of windows. The individual parts are drawn as 2D objects so that drawing is clearer. These objects can be converted to 3D models then. For the development it is used an interface ObjectARX, that provides communication of applications with the system of AutoCAD using the technology of Microsoft. NET Framework. In the future, we assume the extension of the material documentation and output for the management of NC machines.
