Abstract

The submitted doctoral thesis assesses influences of graphite mining on the environment. The theoretical part deals with legislation in the area of raw materials mining in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the thesis individual steps within the process of assessment of influences on the environment are described. The practical part is focused on the assessment of influences within the EIA process at the concrete location of Český Krumlov – Městký Vrch and Vyšný – Lazec.
