Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of physical security and protection of buildings with a focus on sporting events. The theoretical part is devoted to basic concepts in the field of security, the legal framework of private security services in the Czech Republic, and principle of zone protection of buildings. The practical part is devoted to auditing the security measures at Werk Arena in Třinec. Using the example of a high-risk Extraliga match between HC Oceláři Třinec and HC Vítkovice Ridera, potential risks and threats are analyzed. The aim is to assess the effectiveness of the current state of physical security, technical systems, and regime measures and to propose possible improvements for effectively increasing visitor safety and property protection.
