Abstract

In last 100 years, motor vehicles became the foundation of our transportation systems and we cannot imagine our life without them. Recent motor vehicles, compared to their predecessors, are much more complicated and significantly faster. The result of this is, that every part has to come through very strict examinations, because any failure could be fatal. As motor vehicles are becoming more and more sophisticated, the test laboratories, where particular parts or even whole vehicles are tested, must become more sophisticated too. The aim of this Bachelors thesis is to introduce this rapidly developing field to reader and explain its specifics on practical examples.
