Abstract

This bachelor thesis analyzes the management and activities of volunteer fire brigade in Bystre. First at all, it focuses on non-profit sector, its structure, financing and types of non-profit organizations. Further, it also describes the structure of fire protection and management and the organization of volunteer fire brigades in our country. In the practical part it handles the topic in four journalistic genres. I believe that this thesis will be helpful for better understanding and perception of the function of volunteer firefighters and fire protection units even in such a small part of the community like Janovice-Bystre.
