Zhodnocení hospodaření nemocnic založených krajem

Abstract

The diploma thesis aims to evaluate the management of hospitals founded by the Zlín region. The analysis is carried out in the years 2015–2019, and on its basis, proposals are formulated to improve the management of these entities. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to health, health policy, medical facilities, health care, and financing. In the practical part, attention is paid to the introduction of individual hospitals and their basic indicators. Furthermore, the management of selected entities during 2015–2019 is analysed, specifically the profit after tax, revenues, and individual cost items. The key area of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of the management and health of selected hospitals. This evaluation analysis is performed with the help of ratios, which are the basic tool of financial analysis. Based on the results, at the end of the practical part, possible recommendations for improving the management of hospitals established by the Zlín Region are proposed.
