Optimalizace logistiky polyolefinů ve společnosti UNIPETROL RPA

Abstract

The work submitted, elaborates logistics optimization process in UNIPETROL RPA company and concerns the storage of plastics. The first part briefly describes the history of logistics, the articles of the logistics chain, the costs linked with these activities and examples of supply controlling systems. In the second part, the current state of plastic logistics is analyzed in detail, including the identification of bottlenecks. The third and the main part deals with the specific proposals that will lead to guality improvement and costs reduction in the logistics process. A part of this chapter proposes stock controlling using bar codes. The final part of this work evaluates specific proposals and recommendations, which in my opinion, can be beneficial to the firm as expected.
