Analýza efektivnosti stavebních společností za pomocí DEA modelů

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of efficiency of construction companies using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models with the use of financial statements. The theoretical part focuses on the basic principles of effectiveness and DEA methodology, as well as financial statements and their significance for evaluating the performance of construction companies. In the practical part, construction companies from the Moravian- Silesian Region are selected for analysis, and DEA models are applied using data from the financial statements of firms from 2021. Subsequently, the results of the analysis are presented and possibilities for improving the efficiency of construction companies are discussed. The results of this thesis have practical significance for managers and owners of construction companies, enabling them to better understand the factors influencing the efficiency of their business and take measures to improve performance.
