Abstract

Particle size has a signifiant influence on the functional properties of materials. Particles of nanometric dimensions acquiring sizes achieve greater difference between the surface and volume than bulk materials and thus have different characteristics. These differences in recent years are used for preparation of new nanoscale materials with new properties. Among very attractive characteristics some these materials belongs to photocatalytically characteristics, which give us new possibilities of using these materials. In this work is focus on influence of the mechanochemical synthesis of ZnO particles on the photocatalytic properties depending on the temperature processing.
