Abstract

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the analysis and comparison of the use of eParticipation tools in municipalities with extended powers in the Olomouc region. The aim of the thesis is to provide basic information and describe the current state of use of eParticipation tools in municipalities with extended powers in the Olomouc region, and then to suggest ways to improve them. The work is divided into three main chapters and contains a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the basic concepts of public administration, electronic public administration, public administration actors, participation, eParticipation and their tools and defines the basic legislative framework for participation. The practical part includes the analysis of the tools used in municipalities with extended powers in the Olomouc region, which is based on predetermined criteria organized into three groups. The results are presented using tables, graphs and verbal comments. Based on the findings, opportunities were proposed to improve the use of eParticipation tools on municipal websites.
