Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to propose and recommend possible suggestions to improve an appraisal system of employees in a chosen organization. These suggestions will be based on the analysis of the current employee appraisal system in the organization. The chosen company deals in the production of steel components for use in road and rail vehicles and the industrial applications sector. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains an introduction to human resource management and then focuses on the appraisal of employees. The practical part describes the current employee appraisal system in the organization. This system is evaluated using the questionnaire survey method. Proposals and recommendations are based on the results of the questionnaire survey, which the management is advised to use to improve the existing process.
