Abstract

The subject of my thesis is the idea of reducing the concentration of total phosphorus in the effluent from wastewater treatment plants Heřmanice I. The work is composed from theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is briefly focuses on characteristic waste water clearing methods, description of processes ongoing at the WWTP Heřmanice I. It also deals with phosphorus, its occurrence, form and possibilities of removing and recycling. The practical part deals with technological solutions coagulant dosing, individual doses of coagulant and the measured data evaluation. Finally, is to determine the optimal coagulant dose necessary to reduce the total phosphorus concentration below the required limit.
