Analýza bezpečnosti silničního provozu na okružní křižovatce Ostravská - Železárenská - U Nádraží - Orlovská - Hlavní třída - U Motelu ve městě Havířov

Abstract

The aim of my thesis is to compare different modes of organization and traffic control of the circular intersection (two-lane uncontrolled, uncontrolled spiral and spiral-controlled), in purpose to propose measures to improve safety and traffic flow. The first part of the work is theoretical. The second part analyzes the traffic surveys, capacity calculations, traffic accidents and conflict situations and they are implemented in the simulation program PTV VISSIM. At the end the comparison of the different schemes is made and there are proposed various solutions to improve safety and traffic flow.
