Protipovodňová ochrana pod VD Osvětimany

Abstract

This thesis relates to the previous bachelor’s work "Protection of the population below the water dam Osvetimany". The theoretical part of the thesis classifies dams with detailed focus on the trouble causes of earth dams. Next there are described individual flood activity stages announced at hydroelectric dams as well as the owners´ duties and dam categorization from the technical and safety supervision implementation point of view. The practical part is focused directly on the water Osvetimany work and on flood control measure improvement proposals. The current water dam description is given there and also the description of endangered flood discrict together with individual technical and organization measure proposals.
