Abstract

This thesis treats the vision of Internet of things, its use in various sectors and the life cycle of information in Internet of things. The first part is devoted to explain the concept of Internet of things, examples of the application and its benefits. In the next section are described in detail stages of the life cycle of the product and information that are related to it. Then the thesis addresses the use of EPC codes and the emerging network of EPCglobal Network. In the next part there is a sample simulation of the life cycle of Mattoni mineral water in the EPCglobal Network. This simulation took place in the laboratory RFID ILAB. Overall summary of the work is contained within the conclusion.
