Abstract

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the methods of screening job applicants before employment (screening) and the system of screening employees during employment (vetting) from publicly available sources. The bachelor thesis examines the legal framework for such screening in the Czech Republic and mentions also examples from abroad. Within the framework of the bachelor thesis, sociological research on the topic of employee vetting was also conducted. The relationship between certain motivations and the willingness to provide false information in the recruitment process was found, also the relationship between the willingness to provide false information in the recruitment process and the subjective view of the complexity of verifying such information was found.
