Abstract
This bachelor thesis is focused on coal and ore mining in the Most borderland. In the introductory part of this thesis it is described geological composition of the Ore Mountains, and also referred on climate conditions of this territory. Further the thesis deals with mines in the Saxon side. The specific part is devoted to stratigraphy of the Brandov coal basin. The final part of this bachelor thesis suggest creating the Czech-German education trail, which intersects historical mines; in fact this area has a big potential in mining tourism.
