Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of safety instruction for operating a device that produces polyurethane foam, which is used to fill specialized packaging bags for engineering products. The first part of the thesis describes the equipment, its accessories, and the substances used within the process. Subsequently, the thesis outlines the relevant legislation and other legal regulations pertaining to the device. The next part of this bachelor thesis identifies, analyses, and evaluates occupational risks for the operator, from the machinery itself and from the hazardous substances which are in the machinery. In conclusion, based on the risk identification and evaluation, measures are proposed and utilized to develop the final safety instructions for the operator.
