Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is get to know with methods of financial analysis and apply these methods on specific example of a real company. The aim of the thesis is evaluation of total financial situation for the company Vodohospodářské stavby Javorník - CZ s.r.o. from 2011 to 2015 based on financial analysis. In the thesis are compared financial statements between themselves from 2011 to 2015, analysed the structure of assets, evaluated over twenty financial ratios and also ratios of financial health. The result of thesis is a positive detection, that the analysed company achieves relatively high financial stability and low level of indebtedness. On the other hand the ratios of profitability and the level of earnings after taxes are very fluctuating or decreasing.
