Abstract
The paper briefly discusses the anatomy and the optical system of the human eye. Here are briefly mentioned physiological and refractive defect of the eye. Also, is described here the disease clouding of the lens, the so-called cataract. Next they are stated the measurement principles biometry of the eye and the formula for calculating the power of an artificial intraocular lens. The practical part consists of a description of the measurement procedure using two biometric methods, the method of writing data for the evaluation and development of software to determine the accuracy of the measurement and the calculation of intraocular lenses. The next part is the evaluation of measured parameters and biometry measurements compared with other health centers. Finally, the proposed simplified methodology for measuring eye biometrics.
