Abstract

Convenience store is modern retail format characterized by a limited range of goods , but basically offers everything from food to alcohol to health needs. They are placed in places with large concentrations of people and in their immediate vicinity is often not other competing stores . A typical example of the allocation may be gas station or small store in the middle of the train station. The aim of the study was to determine the position of convenience stores among consumers. If they have knowledge about this retail format and if they visited these stores. The partial aim was to compare the development of views and knowledge of convenience stores in a few years To achieve these objectives was used as primary research , based on personal interviews using a structured questionnaire , as well as secondary research , consisting in the assessment of attitudes , opinions and lifestyles of consumers at retail formats convenience stores in several years.
