Abstract
The thesis deals with the analysis of the possibility of using UAVs in tourism for promotional purposes. Introduction to UAV means and its characteristics, current use, advantages and disadvantages, legislative aspects associated with the operation of UAVs. A short introduction to the issue of promotion in tourism and forms of promotional advertisements. The promotional materials that can be created from data captured by UAVs and how to present them appropriately are explored. One site was selected to acquire promotional materials and a subsequent sample of promotional material (bird's eye images, oblique images, orthophotos, DMP, surface type and 3D model) presented in the created StoryMaps.
