Abstract

The topic of the thesis is judicial and out-of-court recovery of overdue receivables. This work is focused on issues related to the existence of receivables after maturity and their enforcement, to outline how the receivables are recovered in the selected joint stock company and to propose possible solutions. The theoretical part defines the definition of receivable and deals with methods of securing receivables and subsequent recovery of overdue receivables. The practical part is focused on the selected joint stock company and their receivables after maturity. The practical part also includes evaluation of the recovery of overdue receivables in the selected joint-stock company and its own solution proposals. The high volume of unpaid receivables threatens the financial stability of the company and can lead to significant liquidity problems.
