Goal of this paper was on base of accidents statistic s in area around railway crossings in Moravina-Silesian region, select critical crossings and proceed with their description. Next was dealing with variable and nonvariable parametres of railway crossings and suggestion of traffic, technical and construction precausions for safety improvement.
In introduction I was solving theoretical part about railway crossings and research project AGATHA. Practical part includes accident statistics in Moravian-Silesian region and its evaluation. Next part is description of critical railway crossings and suggestion how to improve them.
