Posouzení požární bezpečnosti výškového objektu

Abstract

This work treats about fire protection in high-rise buildings. Describes basic concepts and important construction needs in fire safety according to the new standards. Informs about beginnings of this type of buildings and their development in Czech republic and abroad. Also contains statistical overview of fires in relation to tall administrative buildings between years 2005 till 2009. Last part focuses on specific building in Prague 4 - Braník, which was projected and built in 80's. The aim of this study is evaluation of fire safety in this building according actual standards and summary of its inadequacies and proposition of their solutions.
