Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the use of the thermal imager in observing people in chemical suits. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the theory behind thermal imaging, and it describes the behavior of the human body when subjected to thermal stress. The part lists the most common errors made when measuring with the thermal imager. The next part of the thesis is devoted to describing the actual measurements. The concluding part of the thesis summarizes the results of the measurements as well as the applications of the thermal imager in observing humans in chemical suits.
