Abstract
The content of this thesis is to calculate the fire resistance of reinforced concrete columns high-rise building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Brno. Part of this work is a static assessment of single columns according to valid standards, also contains options for response of the structure in fire situation, changes in internal forces and their effect on fire resistance.
