Abstract

The thesis concerns the solid fuels market analysis in the Czech Republic for the expansion of the retail chain of Ridera Bohemia in Moravia. Marketing research, which is part of the thesis, is divided into three parts.The results of the research are used to create a sales plan, select suitable sites and define the desired characteristics of the coal storage. Output of this thesis is a set of proposals relating to the expansion of the retail network and its features. The aim of the thesis is to use such a procedure, which could be applied in the future. A partial result of the thesis is a set of methodology, useable for the expansion of the retail chain in other areas of the Czech Republic and long-term monitoring of trends in customer preferences.
