Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of variation of energy storage gained from renewable energy sources including the assessment of the optimal variation accumulation using multi-criteria analysis (TOPSIS) method based on selected criterion with respecting specified weights. The practical part of this thesis focuses on the hydrogen storage system which is located in the experimental laboratory fuel cells VSB-TUO. This system operates in island mode and is powered by a photovoltaic power plant. The main objective of this thesis is to calculate the efficiency of individual components of the hydrogen system at the base twelve-hour practical laboratory measurements. Power losses were measured by using a PC measuring station during all working cycles of the hydrogen system. The first circuit is supply a continuous load of photovoltaic power plant through the inverter or of batteries. The second circuit is formed by charging lead acid batteries through the charger using photovoltaic panels. The third working cycle is the production of hydrogen by the electrolyzer and its subsequent storage in pressure vessels and finally cycle the production of electricity using the fuel cell through the inverter. To calculate the efficiency of the photovoltaic power plant was carried out by complementary measurement of the intensity of solar radiation.
