Abstract
The main aim of this thesis was to study magnetic behaviour of materials, their usage in industry and investigation the principles of Jiles-Atherton model. Understanding of function of vibrating sample magnetometer VSM MicroSense, its basic principles, measurement of magnetisation curves a their parameters including temperature dependency. Practical part contains measurement of magnetisation curves of magnetically soft stell AREMA, pulverised magnetic sorbents CeO2/Fe2O3 calcinated at tepmeratures from 200 °C to 800 °C and permanent magnet based on NdFeB. Experimentally obtained magnetisation curves were fitted by Jiles Atherton model in Matlab and in this way were calculated basic parameters a, α, k, c of this model describing invesigated system.
