Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on measurement of periocular landscape parameters from 3D facial images using three-dimensional anthropometry. It examines two different groups of volunteers and the changes in the parameters of their eye area over time. These groups consist of healthy volunteers and patients diagnosed with entropion or ectropion. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to eyelids and their pathology, with an emphasis on lower eyelid ectropion and entropion. Furthermore, the thesis deals with obtaining 3D images of faces using the stereophotogrammetry method, which is carried out by the Vectra M3 device from Canfield Scientific. An important part is the anthropometry of the periocular area, which was performed using the Vectra Analysis Module program. In the practical part, the database was expanded for the analysis of the accuracy of selected anthropometric parameters. The last part of the thesis deals with the statistical analysis of the data verifying hypotheses about the change of individual parameters. These values are crucial for monitoring the condition of the periocular area and its changes. The aim is to find out how the surgery affects the measures of the periocular landscape and to confirm the stability of these parameters in non-operated individuals. The analysis was processed in the R Studio program. In conclusion, parameters relevant for evaluating the mentioned diagnoses were determined based on the results of the statistical analysis.
