Vliv základního materiálu na kvalitu nitridovaných vrstev

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with nitridation and structure and properties of nitrided layers. The chemical-thermal processing is generally described in the introduction of theoretical part. A general description of the nitridation process, including the principle of nitridation itself, nitriding processes in various environments, advantages and disadvantages of nitriding in practice are given in the theoretical part. The description of the phase composition and properties of the nitrided layer and the factors that influence it constitute a substantial part of the theoretical chapters. The practical part deals with influence of heat treatment on the quality of the nitrided layer on two types of steels 15 142 and 19 522. Microstructural and semi-quantitative X-ray analyses of the nitrided layer and the base material were performed and the microhardness course from the surface of the material was measured. At the end, the observed differences were compared and discussed.
