Measurement and Evaluation of Car Lamps via Luminance Map

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of normative parameters of a low beam headlamp of a motor vehicle. The first part deals with the requirements for luminance maps and lists the regulations according to the standards that may apply to the luminance map. The second part describes the different types of technological principles of obtaining a luminance map and also the behavior of the light sources used. In the third part we find the principles of luminance analyzers, goniophotometers and their use in measurements. The fourth point concerns the practical measurement of low beam headlamps and their evaluation in accordance with the regulations. The last point focuses on the normative evaluation of light intensity during vibrations from the luminance map.
